GISEC 2023 features 500 exhibitors from 53 countries

March 17, 2023 – At the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from March 14–16, 2023, GISEC Global was hosting a record 500+ exhibitors from 53 countries. Business executives gathered to debate and learn about the most recent developments in global cybersecurity trends. Additionally, it included more than 200 hours of immersive content, 300+ eminent InfoSec speakers, and 1,000 of the top ethical hackers in the world to discuss their perspectives on the global security market and contribute to the Middle East cybersecurity market, which Frost & Sullivan analysts predict will be worth $31 billion by 2030.

The event was held with the Ministry of Interior, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), and Dubai Police serving as Official Supporters and the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) serving as the Official Government Cybersecurity Partner. The seminar was attended by CISOs from significant businesses in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Government officials, cyber leaders, representatives from some of the largest cybersecurity companies, and international specialists came together to develop cutting-edge and successful approaches. The three-day event drew more than 35,000 attendees from over 100 countries.

"Connecting minds, boosting cyber resilience" served as the topic for GISEC Global 2023, which achieved the UAE's goals for digital transformation in data management, cybersecurity, government services, and governance.

According to the research company, the Middle East cybersecurity industry was estimated to be worth $7.5 billion in 2022 and is projected to expand at a rate of around 20% per year over the next 7 years. The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Israel have become popular locations for cybersecurity academics, businesses, research, and innovation because of their robust cybersecurity ecosystems and supporting government programs and legislation.

GISEC was cited by Dr. Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity, UAE Government, as the perfect cybersecurity platform and collaborator with companies and regional governments. He also mentioned GISEC as one of the most significant occasions, not just for the government but also for the industries like healthcare, education, oil and gas, electricity, water, transportation, and aviation are all undergoing digital transformation. Dr. Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti stressed the value of partnerships and collaborations based on the ideals of trust and clarity while speaking to the CISOs. This was done in order to accomplish the objective of improving cyber resilience.
