Senior Software Developer
Believe i can negotiate with people.
Because i like to hear people and may be very tolerant to people’s thoughts and words.
Believe i write good code. Because I’m an engineer.
I can design and predict restrictions and winnings of my technical decisions.
I can code.
And my code is just a written solution to an already solved problem, but not a solution in itself.
Because “the best code is not written code”.
Ten years ago I admined heterogeneous(linux/windows/mac) network of 20
servers, 250 thin clients, 100 copy machines and 10 mac’s. There was also a lot of different specific equipment: tomographs, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, and robotic tele-surgeons.
I felt and realized how technology can help save lives. And how it can make the final better and quieter.
I try to do interesting stuff, learn new things and exchange my skills for money for mutual benefit: mine and customer’s.
Task doesn’t inspire me. Tasks are just tasks. But I feel inspired when I know that I have the opportunity(aka time) to “do it well” and study something in a process.
When I have resources to improve my skills or working-process.
When the task is about progress/life not just money/work.
I cook sometimes, sew a little bit, make furniture once a year, and try to do regular crossfit workouts. Like to see and read about good architecture and
